Quality Trends
The operator scores every memorial and wedding heirloom before delivery (strong / acceptable / weak) under the FIRST-BUYER-PROTOCOL gate. The same protocol records demo pick-rate (% of demos picked within 48 hours) and delivered counts per vertical. Once a quarter we publish redacted aggregate snapshots so anyone — buyer, partner, journalist — can audit whether the discipline is holding.

In progressFirst quarterly snapshot — baseline metrics for the FIRST-BUYER-PROTOCOL gate period.
Methodology
Source of truth. The operator_quality_rating column on the life_songs table. Set by the operator at delivery time on every memorial and wedding order under the FIRST-BUYER-PROTOCOL gate. Values: strong, acceptable, weak.
Three metrics published. Strong-rating % (of rated orders, share marked strong). Demo pick-rate % within 48 hours (of demos that landed, share picked within 48hr — falling pick-rate is the leading indicator that "demos don't land"). Delivered count (volume).
Buckets. ISO-week buckets, Monday-anchored, UTC. The admin dashboard at /admin/life-songs/quality-trends renders 8 weeks; published quarterly snapshots aggregate to month-buckets to amortize sparse early periods.
Redaction policy. Any bucket with N < 5 is reported as “n < 5” instead of the exact number, to protect buyer identity when volume is low. Buyer names, dates of loss, song slugs, song contents, and operator notes never appear. We publish only aggregates + prose annotations.
Frequency. Quarterly. Snapshots are append-only (we never edit a previously-published snapshot; corrections ship as a follow-up note on the original).
